Tanya Burr Eyeshadow Palette

My previous post - which you can find here - was a review on Tanya Burr's nail varnishes. As well as the new nail varnishes I also got my hands on her new eyeshadow palette in 'Enchanted Dream'.

There's been two new eye shadow palettes released and I have to say that it was a tough choice choosing between the two as they both included beautiful colours. I went for the more purple toned palette, due to the fact I already have quite a few good brown based palettes, and I'm so glad I did.

The shades in this palette are gorgeous. There's two shimmery shades, one more muted shimmer and a matte which means you can create so many beautiful looks with just four shades. I have used the shade 'moonlit walk' the most as it's perfect for inner eye highlight and under the brow bone, I use this shade on a daily basis!

My favourite look so far was created putting 'cocoa plum' all over the lid, 'berry souffle, on the outer half of the eyelid and then 'magic carpet' through the crease with 'moonlit walk' in the inner corners as always. I had used an eyeshadow primer and the eyeshadows lasted all night and into the early hours of the morning.

The eyeshadows are so versatile and can be used subtle during the day or built up for the perfect evening look.

Tanya Burr Matte Nail Varnishes

As you will have seen in my previous posts - would you can read here - I recently got one of the new matte nail varnishes from Tanya Burr. As expected I immediately fell in love and just had to pick up another shade which means I have both 'New Chapter' and 'Soft Pyjamas'.

I absolutely love these polishes. Everything from the frosted glass packaging to the beautiful muted shades and perfect formula are just spot on. The formula is possibly the thickest I've ever used which means it's the easiest one to use. One thick coat is enough however, I prefer to use two thinner coats to help make the polish last longer.

I've never used matte nail varnishes before and I never want to use any others again. I loved them so much I just had to get my sister one too!

Let me know if you've given these a go and which shade is your favourite.

Boots and Feel Unique Haul

The other day I noticed that my supplies were getting quite low and I needed to stock up on quite a few toiletries. This led to an online price-off between Boots and Feel Unique and I ended up getting quite a few things from both websites. So much so that instead of having the longest blog post in history, I thought I'd film it for you instead.

So click below to see what I've picked up...it may take a while!

My First Sourced Box!

I am a very firm believer that what you put into your body really affects how you look on the outside of your body. People always go on about how good water is for you but I couldn't believe the different I noticed in my skin when I made a conscious effort to drink more. My skin was literally glowing and people kept commenting on it.

This then made me think how much more beneficial eating well could be for my body but I had no idea where to begin, which is why I recently bought a one-off Sourced Box.

Just look at how many goodies you get in this box. It's brilliant! I've tried a couple of bits so far and really enjoyed them all so can't wait to see what else I love.

A box like this is such a genius idea to try new brands and foods which I wouldn't even know where to find. It's also extremely handy as I usually get peckish around 11am at work and these are perfect to take along for a healthy mid-morning snack.

I literally love this box so much that I think I'm going to subscribe to make sure I get a box every single month.

Did anyone else get one this month? If so, let me know what you favourite snack was!

Empties #12

My box of empty products was near overer-flowing so I felt it was about to time to do an empties post. I'm just going to focus on make-up empties as all the other ones, skincare and toiletries, are pretty much the same as previous empties post so I thought I'd save you the hassle on reading about the same products over and over.

Starting with a product which isn't exactly make-up but is related. MAC Brush Cleanser is my favourite product to use in between washes. I clean my brushes every Sunday and alternate between this and a more thorough wash using the Real Techniques brush cleanser.

Next is one of my all time favourite foundations. No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation suits my skin perfectly. No7 have a foundation to suit everyone so I would highly recommend going in store and getting the skin match test done to find your perfect foundation also.

When I'm not wanting to wear a foundation I settle for a BB cream/tinted moisturiser and I loved this one from Benefit. Benefit Big Easy Bigger Than BB is amazing and with SPF35 it is the perfect base to use on holiday.

Another Benefit product which I've used up is the Lolli Balm. I don't remember the last time I fully used up a lip product so this just shows how much I enjoyed this. It's so moisturising and gives such a pretty colour to the lips. Again, this is the perfect Summer lip essential.

I recently used up a lip liner which was one of my everyday go to lip products. I've done a post on Rimmel's Exaggerate Lip Liner in 'Easton Snob' which you can read here.

Another Rimmel product I used up was their Lasting Finish Concealer. This is serious stuff. It's so thick and stays in place all day. I got this in their lightest shade and use it under my eyes to help hide those bags throughout the day.

Last but not least is Bourjois Nail Polish Remover Pot. This saved me so much time and effort when removed my nail varnish. Not the best for glitter polish so may not be great around Christmas but for the rest of the year it's great and makes things so much easier.

Let me know what you've been using up recently or if you've used any of the products above!
