The Body Shop Haul

I recently had a voucher for The Body Shop and went online to find they had an AMAZING sale going on! So I ended up picking up quite a few things and I thought there was too many items not to share so here is my show and tell;

  • Camomile Cleansing Oil- £10 not in the sale
  • White Musk Sumptuous Silk Shower Gel- not sure of the price as on my order it says £0.00?!
  • Lip Roll-On -£2 in the sale
  • Brazil Nut Beautifying Oil- £4.50 in the sale
  • Lip Liner Fixer- £8 not in the sale
  • Vitamin E Face Mist- £8.50 not in the sale
  • Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask- £1 in the sale

I have been wanting to try out the cleansing oil for a while now having seen many a great review about it and recently I have really been enjoying using oils, strange considering I have oily skin, but it seems to be doing my skin wonders.
I'm also really excited to try out the face mist after getting a tip from Victoria from InTheFrow about using it to dampen a beauty blender before using.

Other than that the other products are completely new to me so let me know if you've tried any and what you think!

Better Than Batiste?!

Now there's a title I never thought I'd write. For as long as I've been using dry shampoo I've never found anything that has come close to how good Batiste. I've tried and tested a few but have never been impressed. However, after seeing this new gem on offer on the dry shampoo shelf I thought I can always try one more- enter in Pantene Pro-V Volume Booster.

This stuff is brilliant, so much so that I've already bought another in case I run out- totally bypassing Batiste on my way. It doesn't leave a lot of white residue in your hair so is easy to blend in, even in my dark roots, and gives brilliant volume which really lasts throughout the day. It's got a pleasant smell which isn't too strong and does a great job at refreshing my hair without making it look like there's a lot of product in it.

All in all I would definately say there's finally some real competition for Batiste.

Rimmel's Lipstick for Comic Relief

If you live in Britain then you will be well aware as to what Comic Relief is and what amazing work it does in the UK as well as worldwide. Every year there's new red noses released as well as other merchandise such as t-shirts, mugs, cards, badges etc. But for the first time - as far as I know- they released a lipstick!! And not just any lipstick but a Rimmel Kate Moss edition which we all know are one of the best ranges from the drugstore.

It is in the colour '01 Red Nose Red' and it's exactly that- bright red. Of course the formulation of this is brilliant and the colour is great but the best thing about it is that with every lipstick sold a donation is made to Comic Relief and someone, somewhere in the world will benefit more than any of us can imagine.

I for one know that I definitely take my life for granted. Having a roof over my head, an education, a health service, food, fresh water etc is something which I've always known and therefore never known what it's like to go without. So I feel it's very important to help others who are less fortunate than myself. We can all do our bit, no matter how big or small, to change someone's life for a better- and this way you get a great new lipstick too!

If you haven't got the chance to get to your local Superdrug to pick one of these up you can head over to Comic Relief's page and make a donation.

Tanya Burr Lipgloss

Yes I know...I'm very late to the party for this one. I've heard so much hype around the Tanya Burr products- she's a youtuber and beauty blogger- but everytime I was in Superdrug they were always sold out. So, while recently perusing feelunique it was my basket before I could say Lipgloss.

I was very excited to try it out and I was not disappointed. The first thing I noticed was the incredible  strawberry smell. I've got the shade 'Picnic in the Park' and it's a very beautiful bright pink. The pigmentation is amazing, a lot better than most lipgloss' which tend to be rather sheer, and you can either use a little for a more subtle/natural look or build it up for a bold choice. It lasts well on the lips and is not sticky in any shape or form, its just so comfortable on the lips and very easy to apply thanks to the long sponge applicator.

This lipgloss has not left my handbag since I've got it and I can't wait to get more. There's also rumours that there's going to be new editions to the Tanya Burr cosmetics range so keep your eyes peeled as if they're as good as this then they'll be in high demand.

Collection's 'Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow Palete'

As mentioned in this post, I recently bought a new product from Collection. Introducing Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette. Quite the mouthful to say but nothing other than a pleasure to use.

I really was VERY impressed with this product. The pigmentation is brilliant and I love the each and everyone one of the colours- I have the palette in 'Nude Bronze'. They are all heavy on the shimmer which just looks beautiful on the eyelids.

If, like me, you have always wanted to get yours hands on the Naked Palettes by Urban Decay but a bit shy of the £40 price tag then I would definitely recommend this, which is only £3.99!!
