Smelling Sweet

The NYC perfume by Sarah Jessica Parker is not a new one, not to the market nor me but recently my love for it has grown just that bit more and I can't get enough. So, therefore, I thought it called for a blog post!

The fragrance has top notes of wild red strawberries, Italian Mandarin and white osmanthus (no idea what that is at all!).
The middle notes consist of gardenia, honeysuckle and mimosa (again, what?!)
And the bottom notes are made up of rum flavour, sandalwood and creamy musks.

What a mouth full all that is! Anyone else not realise that in a perfume there's three different types of 'notes'?! And after reading all of them there's no way you could imagine the smell whatsoever. And I'm afraid I won't do too grand a job either but overall I would describe the perfume as very sweet, fun and flirty. Something I think every girl should be all within a scent. I would say its more a spring/summer fragrance and suited more to daytime due to it's sweetness, however right now it's my only perfume so it's worn all day every day and I still haven't got bored of it!

I simply adore the smell and love the fun packaging it comes in. I have the 60ml but it also comes in a cute wee 30ml which would be ideal for travelling/thrown in the handbag.

Which fragrance is everyone else loving for this time of year?!

Thanks for reading
