No7 Pop & Glow Duo

Firstly, lets just mention how ridiculously cute the packaging is! Besides that this is a beautifully bright pink blusher and an absolutely stunning golden highlight.

I have previously posted about No7 Pop & Glow blusher here and loved it so much that I knew the blusher part of this due would be lovely. However, I wasn't too sure about the highlighter. Sometimes I find highlighters to be too glitterly or not really there or they don't blend in nicely but all these fears were unnecessary as this highlighter is perfect. It catches the light in such a natural and glowy way that you avoid the glitter-bomb face -which is never ideal- but still manage to achieve a very healthy and flattering appearance.

The fact that both these products come together is just perfect for travelling and for saving time in the morning. Because of the design it's also very easy to mix the two products together to give a glowy summery blush.

I have the shade Sunrise Glow. These are available from Boots for £9 and I can't wait to add more to my collection!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Concealer

I will admit that it was the packaging that drew me to this product. I'm not sure why but there was someone about this little red pot that I really liked and it reminded me of a lot higher end concealers which come in similar shaped packaging. But enough about the packaging....onto the product itself!

So this is Rimmel's newest concealer and it is a goodone. It has a lovely creamy texture which blends really nicely into the skin. I use this under my eyes as it's high coverage and doesn't budge during the day. Therefore I bought this in the lightest shade (010 Porcelain) so it could also do a highlighting number underneath my foundation and I found it to be great for this. I've heard other bloggers say that they don't like using this under their eyes as it creased but personally it has never creased on me and I love it as a base to hide those black circles.

I did try this on a spot and although it covered it well initially I found it didn't quite last a full shift but I had used it on my chin which a lot of my make-up seems to rub off during the day so it isn't a write off for that just yet.

I really enjoy using this product under my eyes and it's has now become an essential step in my everyday routine. The only bad thing I can really think of is that it currently only comes in 3 shades which is fine for me but maybe not everyone else! This is available from Boots and Superdrug for £5.49 -bargain!

The Perfect Summer Coral Lip

The swatch on the left is the more full on colour whereas on the right is a lighter swipe
This post is completely the fault of Anna from Vivianna Does Make-Up as she recently wrote this blog about the new L'oreal Color Riche Matte Lipstick in the shade 228 VIP. It just so happened that the day after reading the review I was in my local Superdrug and remembered how amazing she made it sound so headed straight for the L'oreal stand. There was only one left in this colour and as soon as I saw it I was in love and grabbed it straight away.

I don't think I own many coral lip colours so it's not a usual shade that I would reach for in the morning but it definitely is now. This is such a beautiful, bright, pinky, orangey coral which has a stunning full on colour, which is almost luminous when applied from the bullet or can also be a lovely subtle coral hint of colour when dabbed on and blended in with the finger. It lasts really well on the lips without a drying feeling however, I would say there is a slight tacky feeling- not sticky- but it's so subtle that I only noticed it when I think about. Other than the slight tacky feeling this sits very comfortable on the lips and I do forget its on.

For only £6.99 I'm tempted to stock up just to make sure I've got enough to last me all through Summer!

L'oreal Infallible 24H-Matte Foundation

L'oreal is a brand which I've used and trusted since I began in make-up so when they have a new realise I get excited. Especially when it's a foundation which claims to deliver 24hours of matte coverage. And that is exactly what the new Infallible Matte foundation does...well I've not actually had it on for 24 hours but it does last all day!

I have an extremely oily forehead which requires a lot of powder and has never been tamed by foundation all that well. However, this has been the best ever foundation for controlling my oily skin ever. I still use powder on top in the morning but don't need to top up during the day because of shininess.

As you can see on the back it claims to be a medium texture and high coverage. I definitely agree with the high coverage but feel the texture is actually lighter than medium. It sits very comfortable on the skin with no caking and you can barely feel it which is surprising considering the high coverage.

This has fast become one of my all time favourite foundations and for £6.99 you really cannot complain!
